Bob and Karen Fleher were General Chairman of the 42nd National Square Dance Convention held in St. Louis, Missouri in 1993. Attendance was 18,000 dancers.
Bob died in July, 2000. They had two daughters, Laura and Jodi, and 8 grandchildren. The grandchildren range in age from 22 years to 20 months. This keeps Karen busy and broke buying birthday and Christmas presents; however, they are the joy of her life.
Square dancing and serving on the National Executive Committee (NEC) keeps any spare time occupied.
